Ultra Music Festival in Miami is where electronic dance music comes to flex. Held at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami, the festival overlooks Biscayne Bay with the Miami skyline as its backdrop. It is flashy, loud, and unapologetically over-the-top — just like Miami itself. Three days, eight stages, and 170,000 fans make Ultra one of the biggest EDM events on Earth. The Main Stage is where the biggest names in dance music (Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox) deliver career-defining sets. The RESISTANCE stage (techno/house) has become equally iconic. Miami in late March is perfect — 27°C (80°F), sunny, with ocean breezes. The festival runs from 4PM to midnight, so you actually get to sleep at normal hours (unlike EDC). Getting there: Miami International Airport (MIA) is 20 minutes by taxi. The venue is downtown, accessible by Metromover, Uber, or walking from nearby hotels. South Beach is a 15-minute Uber. Pro tip: Miami Music Week surrounds Ultra with 400+ pool parties, club nights, and showcases across the city. Ultra is the main event, but MMW is the full experience.
