Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas is the crown jewel of electronic dance music festivals. Held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, this three-night extravaganza runs from dusk to dawn — literally. The music starts at sundown and does not stop until sunrise. With 500,000 attendees across three nights, 200+ artists, and eight massive stages, EDC is a sensory overload in the best possible way. The production is unmatched — think 30-foot LED sculptures, carnival rides, fireworks every night, and art cars roaming the grounds. The desert heat is no joke — temperatures hit 40°C (104°F) during the day, but since the festival runs overnight, it cools to a manageable 25°C. Free water stations are everywhere. Getting there: Most people stay on the Las Vegas Strip and take official shuttles (45-60 min each way). The shuttle experience is part of the fun. Flying into Harry Reid (LAS) is easiest.
