Festival Guide
Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is a 4-day camping festival on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee — about 60 miles southeast of Nashville. Running since 2002, it is one of America's most beloved multi-genre festivals, known for its community spirit, legendary late-night sets, and the iconic arch.
The festival runs Thursday through Sunday with music across 10+ stages. Expect hot, humid weather in mid-June — temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s with afternoon thunderstorms. Pack rain gear, sunscreen, and lots of water.
Camping is the Bonnaroo way. General camping is included with your ticket. You can also upgrade to VIP camping, glamping pods, or RV spots. No hotels within walking distance — the nearest towns (Manchester, Tullahoma) are 15-20 minutes away.
The closest major airport is Nashville International (BNA), about 75 minutes north. Shuttle buses run from Nashville. The Chattanooga airport (CHA) is also about 90 minutes away.
Pro tips: The silent disco and superjam sets are legendary — do not miss them. Bring a wagon for hauling gear from your car to your campsite. The What Stage sunsets are unmatched.
